Your information
Privacy notice
This notice explains, in plain words, what happens to your information when you use this website. The short version: we do not track you, and what you send us through a form goes to the church and nowhere else.

In short
- No analytics, no advertising and no tracking of any kind.
- This website sets no cookies of its own for visitors.
- What you send through a form is saved in the church's own Google Sheets, so we can answer you. The website itself keeps no copy.
- The Google map loads only if you click "Show map".
Who is responsible
The data controller for this website is:
Winners Chapel International, BudapestMozsár u. 21065 BudapestHungaryBudapest.RP@For anything about your information, write to us at this email address.
Our forms
Each form asks only for what we need to answer you. Anything marked optional can be left empty.
- Contact
- Your name, email, subject and message, and a phone number if you give one. We use them to answer you.
- I'm new
- Your name and an email or a phone number, and if you like, how you heard about us, whether you would like a call or a visit, and a message. We use them to welcome you and to follow up in the way you asked.
- Prayer request
- Your request, and if you like, your name and email. The church reads it and prays for you. You can send it without your name.
- Share a testimony
- Your name or initials, a title, your testimony, and your email if you give one. The church reads it. It appears on this website only if you tick the separate sharing box and the church then chooses to publish it.
- Serve with us
- Your name, email and the units you choose, and a phone number and a few words about yourself if you give them. We use them to talk with you about serving.
- Check-in at church
- Opened from the QR code at the church entrance. Your name and email, whether it is your first visit, and if you give them, a phone number, your birthday (day and month, and the year only if you choose to give it) and how you heard about us. We keep a record that you came. A first time visitor gets one welcome email, and you get a birthday greeting if you gave your birthday. Service reminders, church news and a note when we have not seen you for a while are sent only if you tick that box.
What happens when you send a form
Your browser sends the form to this website's server, which runs on Cloudflare. The server checks it and saves it as one row in a Google Sheet that belongs to the church, a separate sheet for each form. The church may also be told by email that something has arrived. The website itself keeps no copy: nothing is saved on Cloudflare, and the server's logs record only which form was sent and whether it worked, never what you wrote.
Your entry is read by the church. We do not sell your information, and we do not share it outside the church except with the services named on this page that make the website work.
How long we keep it: We keep the information you give us for as long as it is needed for the life and pastoral care of the church. For members and regular attenders that means for as long as you remain part of our church family. You may ask us at any time to erase it, and we will do so without undue delay unless the law requires us to keep it.
Why we may use it: for Contact, First timer and Serve messages, because you asked us to reply or to take a step for you (GDPR Article 6(1)(b) and (f)). For prayer requests, testimonies and check-in, because you give your consent by ticking the box (GDPR Articles 6(1)(a) and 9(2)(a)). Service reminders and church news are sent only with your consent.
Where your entries are kept
Form entries are kept in Google Sheets, in a Google account that belongs to the church. Only people the church has given access can open them. Our server passes each entry to Google; your browser does not contact Google when you send a form. Google stores the sheets on its own servers, which may be outside the European Union, under the safeguards described in Google's privacy policy (opens in a new tab).
A check-in also updates the list of members the church keeps in the same Google account, which is where the welcome, birthday and reminder emails are sent from.
Prayer requests, testimonies and check-in
What you write in these forms, and the fact that you came to a service, may show your religious beliefs, which the law treats with extra care. That is why we ask for your consent first. You can take it back at any time by writing to us. This does not affect what was done before.
Sharing a testimony on the website is a separate choice, and it is off unless you tick it. Nothing is published automatically: the church decides, and publishes only through the website editor. Ask us at any time and we will take it down.
Spam protection
Our forms use Cloudflare Turnstile to tell people apart from automated spam. It loads only when you come close to a form, not when a page opens. To do its check, Cloudflare processes technical information such as your IP address and details of your browser. Cloudflare's Turnstile privacy addendum (opens in a new tab).
To slow down abuse, the server also counts how many forms come from one IP address in a minute. The IP address is used only for that count and is not saved with your entry.
The map
The map on the Home and Contact pages starts as a card with our address, and nothing is loaded from Google. The Google map loads only if you click "Show map". From then on Google receives technical information such as your IP address, as with any visit to Google Maps. "Get directions" opens Google Maps in a new tab. Google's privacy policy (opens in a new tab).
Events and links to other sites
The events list comes from the church's Google Calendar. Our server fetches it, so your browser does not contact Google to show it. "Add to Google Calendar", the calendar subscription links and our social media links take you to those services, and their own privacy policies apply there.
Hosting
Cloudflare hosts this website and delivers every page. Like any web host, it processes your IP address and technical details of each request to deliver the page and to protect the site from attacks. The website itself keeps no record of your visit and uses no analytics. Cloudflare's privacy policy (opens in a new tab).
On your device
This website sets no cookies of its own for visitors. It keeps one small note in your browser's session storage so that the opening animation plays only once per visit, and your browser removes it when you close the tab. Fonts and images come from this website, not from other companies. The only cookies are for members of the church's website team: when they sign in to the editing pages, cookies keep that sign in, and one more, kept for at most ten minutes, brings them back to the page they started from.
Your rights
Under the GDPR you can ask us for a copy of your information, ask us to correct or delete it, ask us to limit or stop using it, and take back your consent at any time. Write to us at the email address above, and we will reply within one month. To stop emails from the church, write to the same address.
If you are unhappy with how we handle your information, you can complain to the Hungarian data protection authority, Nemzeti Adatvédelmi és Információszabadság Hatóság (NAIH) (opens in a new tab).
